Shree Shanidham Trust is running overall three cowsheds in Pali, Rajasthan. Among them one is designed by using advanced technology. Remaining two are under process of renovation. It is a cruel practice of capturing and confining cows for examining them or testing them on various products or using them to create products. Cows that are not suitable for milk production are discarded or disowned by the farmers. With a motive to prevent such acts and save the species of the Holy Cow, as the Cow is revered or worshipped as per the Hindu Religion, Shree Shanidham Trust has established cow sheds. Thousands of cows are nurtured and cared for in these cowsheds. This will help in improving the bio-diversity as well as bring balance to Nature. On Gopashtami Festival and Somavati Amavasya Cows are worshipped at these Cow Shelters. Daati Ji Maharaj offers fodder to cows with his loving and caring hands. Religious ceremonies are conducted on these occasions. Calves given birth by the cows are donated by the Trust to poor farmers. None of the cow products are sold by the Trust but are distributed to the boys who take care of cows at the cow shelters. In the near future the Trust is planning to prepare medicines and various products from the urine and other waste products of cows. |
